Coaching employees is another key aspect of leadership, especially when guiding underperforming staff toward improvement through motivation and structured dialogue. Effective coaching helps employees develop their skills and confidence while strengthening workplace relationships. Delivering constructive criticism is an essential but often difficult supervisory skill, and when done correctly, it fosters employee growth while addressing problematic behaviors.
